Please prepare an initial, written statement to the scholarship
committee separate from your formal application (below).
Send your initial statement in an email or as a Microsoft WORD
attachment to your email.  Your statement should consider that
Carl Ziemba believed “the constitutional right of anyone, guilty or innocent,
has to be protected, and that right must be buttressed by vigorous
application of the law-even if there’s little money in it for the attorney.”

If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be freed from the financial
burden of law school tuition. This should free you up to provide legal
support for those in need.  What are your current ideas to fulfill your
public service responsibilities this year?
